Rabeel Warraich is a visionary entrepreneur, global investor, and the Founder & CEO of Sarmayacar, Pakistan’s first institutionalised venture capital firm focused on uplifting early-stage startups and scaling innovation across high-growth sectors. After graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with dual science degrees, Rabeel began his career as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley in London and later became Vice President of Private Equity at the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation, managing billions in capital and honing his strategic investment acumen.
With a deep belief that Pakistan’s young founders can build world-class companies, Rabeel returned home to launch Sarmayacar in 2018 with an anchor fund that helped fill the venture capital gap and attract global capital. Under his leadership, the firm has catalysed hundreds of millions in investments into transformative businesses in fintech, healthtech, logistics, e-commerce, climate tech and beyond.
Rabeel also serves on boards of several leading startups, shares his insights as a judge on Shark Tank Pakistan, teaches and speaks widely on entrepreneurship, and works to forge cross-border partnerships that expand opportunities for Pakistani innovation.
