Shahzaib Asmat is a 15-year-old educationist, youth activist, and author, recognized as Pakistan’s youngest research-based book writer and the world’s youngest writer in humanities. Founder of Rise and Restore, he champions education, human rights, and gender equality, running a free village school for 200+ children and supporting transgender education. As a UN Youth & SDGs Ambassador and WHO Ambassador, he drives systemic change through advocacy, writing, and curriculum innovation.
Shahzaib Asmat is a 15-year-old educationist, youth activist, and internationally recognized author from Pakistan, celebrated as the youngest research-based writer in the country and the world’s youngest in the humanities field. He has authored two impactful books, Voices Without Permission and The Dialectic of Dissent, addressing human rights, women’s empowerment, and international relations.
Driven by a mission to create lasting societal impact, Shahzaib founded and leads Rise and Restore, an NGO dedicated to education, gender equality, youth empowerment, and transgender rights. Through this initiative, he has employed women and transgender individuals, operated a free village school serving over 200 children in Kanwanlit, and provided support for transgender education in Gujranwala. His work also includes nationwide awareness campaigns promoting girls’ education and human rights.
Beyond grassroots activism, Shahzaib has expanded his influence internationally as a United Nations Youth Ambassador, UN SDGs Ambassador 2025, and WHO Ambassador. He is a pioneering curriculum innovator in Pakistan, developing programs on Critical Thinking and Freedom Studies aimed at transforming how education shapes young minds.
Despite societal challenges, financial constraints, and resistance, Shahzaib remains committed to systemic change, leveraging writing, research, advocacy, and direct community engagement.
