Mehar Shehryar is a dynamic young philanthropist and social activist whose unwavering commitment to community service has transformed the lives of thousands across Pakistan. At just 25 years old, Mehar has dedicated over eight years to humanitarian work, driven by a deep belief that organized volunteerism can spark sustainable social change. In pursuit of this vision, he founded The Volunteer Society, a non‑profit organization that has become a beacon of hope — mobilizing thousands of volunteers in impactful initiatives focused on education, healthcare, poverty alleviation, and youth empowerment.

Under Mehar’s leadership, The Volunteer Society has pioneered several remarkable programs setting new benchmarks in community engagement:

• IT Labs for Underprivileged Children: Established 23 fully equipped computer labs in orphanages and madrasas, positively impacting over 1,200 students with digital literacy opportunities.
• Wind of Shattering the Silence: A national awareness campaign educating 25,000+ children in more than 300 institutes on child safety, good touch/bad touch, and harassment prevention.
• Quran Libraries Project: Launched 51 Quran libraries in 12 cities, benefiting 8,000–10,000 students with curated Islamic literature.
• Child Fiesta: Organized Pakistan’s largest annual event for orphans for four consecutive years, featuring 300+ activities and participation of over 500 children.
• Elder Care Leadership: Serving as Advisory Head of ZUK Old Home, a Rawalpindi‑based elderly care center providing dignity and compassionate support to senior citizens.
• Peace Leaders Conference: Celebrated and recognized 40 youth peace champions in multiple categories while honoring victims of violence.
• Annual Humanitarian Programs: Including Heroes of Ramadan, Seerat‑un‑Nabi Conferences, and distribution of 72 annual Ramadan Dastarkhwans.
