Aniqa Sattar is a young climate entrepreneur and the CEO of Pak Organic Life, a purpose-driven startup transforming animal and agricultural waste into high-quality organic fertilizer. At just 22, she has combined environmental responsibility with entrepreneurial vision—turning waste management into a scalable circular economy solution.
With 84% of Pakistan’s methane emissions linked to agricultural waste, Aniqa’s work directly addresses one of the country’s most pressing environmental challenges. Through her venture, she has converted over 200,000 kg of animal manure and agricultural waste into value-added fertilizer, significantly contributing to climate mitigation efforts. Her model not only reduces harmful emissions but also supports urban dairy farmers by purchasing manure, creating additional income streams and strengthening the local circular economy.
Beyond business, Aniqa is deeply committed to education and youth empowerment. She has trained 300+ students in climate mitigation strategies and served as a panelist at regional and national climate conferences, advocating for youth-led economic and environmental solutions. She has also helped establish vermicompost units in five different locations and is supervising academic research projects to further expand sustainable practices.
